doc day afternoon
doc day afternoon is a systems stategy company headed by Ghalizha Zahra Izzaty.
Her old website led with an interesting idea: people-first operations. The only problem? It stopped there, at the curiosity level. "People-first operations" sounds lovely. But what does it really mean in practice? Why does it matter to her clients? How does it function as a real differentiator?
Like so many experts doing excellent work, Ghalizha was stuck communicating the actual value of her approach. Prospects visiting her site were intrigued ... but didn't "get" why they should hire her over others.
Through my messaging refinement process, I helped her flesh out what "people-first" looks like in practice (it's NOT just a buzzword), the types of clients who benefit most from this approach (scaling service businesses, where subjective work is so key), and the specific moment of growth that makes the problem she solves feel the most urgent (quickly building a lean team of contractors).
Then I carried this through in a simplified website strategy, including a detailed Process page, and copywriting that borrowed Ghalizha's natural writing voice (empathetic, expert, somewhat playful).
"We were not even done yet and I was already secretly using the strategy for other channels (don't tell Krista). That's how much it's clicking.
Krista's whole approach is making sure my website serves as a sales tool, and once I saw it that way, I couldn't stop working backwards. "Okay, if that's the bottom of the funnel - what are we saying in the middle? At the top when people first find me?"
Everything really opened up. We're always taught to build from the top down and I've always stalled there, but Krista flipping it got me going, and now I'm just riding the momentum."
Krista's website messaging process sculpts my business into the best, most premium version of itself; and because she's already in the world of premium clients she knows exactly what it takes to get there.
She sees potential you haven't fully named yet and finds the right words that ring true to both you and your clients."
